Costa Del Sol, a 768-unit complex with 122 buildings, suffered major damage from Hurricane Andrew. When a dispute arose between Costa Del Sol and its insurer, the Florida Department of Insurance recommended the Association hire a public adjusting firm. Subsequently, Tutwiler and Associates, Inc. was hired and the Association received in excess of $5,000,000,00 for hurricane damage repairs.
