The Bon Aire Motel is an 80-room motel located directly on the Gulf of Mexico in St. Petersburg Beach, Florida. During routine maintenance inspection of the buildings, the owner's representatives discovered cracks in the concrete walkways throughout the complex. Tutwiler and Associates, Inc. was subsequently retained to assist this resort with their collapse claim due to hidden decay.
Lloyds of London, the insurance carrier, agreed to a final settlement in February 2003 of $825,000.00. This settlement agreement was reached without the need for litigation or arbitration.
