My initial claim settlement from my insurance company was $3k which I knew was woefully inadequate and did not address the root cause of the problem. My adjuster Scott Luginski came to my house, surveyed the damage and told me that he could get more money but the process could take up to six months. True to his word, I signed settlement papers with my insurance company six months to the day I received my first settlement check for a total of $35k.
