A national franchise hotel located in Central Florida was damaged by Hurricane Charley in 2004. The insurance company sent out various adjusters and other experts who calculated the damage at an amount just at or slightly more than the $90,600.00 hurricane deductible. The hotel owner retained Tutwiler and Associates, Inc. who quickly completed a thorough damage inspection of the entire building. After additional inspections and intense negotiations, the claim was settled for more than $605,000.00 by Keith Grams of Tutwiler and Associates, Inc., more than one half million dollars over the insurance company's estimates!
